JBL Everest II Speaker DD66000EB

The Project Everest DD66000 loudspeaker system doesn’t merely reassert JBL’s technological leadership, design aesthetic and manufacturing prowess for a new generation of music lovers. It literally embodies our passion for music. Begun in 2002 and completed for the company’s 60th anniversary in 2006, Project Everest is quite simply the most exquisite musical instrument JBL has ever constructed, delivering the highest level of musical fidelity. Once again fulfilling founder James B. Lansing’s vision of creating beautiful, high-performance home loudspeakers.

The DD66000 excels in every sonic respect, with authoritative bass, a pure, detailed midrange and open, extended high-frequency response beyond 50kHz. The DD66000 combines the superlative dynamic range, transient response, and "effortless" quality of horn-loaded compression drivers with the precise imaging, three-dimensional soundstage and articulate low frequency impact provided by the finest dynamic drivers. The DD66000 delivers remarkably natural vocal and instrumental reproduction, and faithfully reproduces the sonic environment present on the original recording.

JBL 1400 Array

The 1400 Array is the top-of-the-line loudspeaker in JBL’s Project Array lineup. Engineered for superlative sonic performance in the most ambitious home theater and music systems, the 1400 Array’s remarkable fidelity and sonic realism is sure to thrill even the most-demanding audiophiles. The 1400 Array utilizes the same 435AL aluminum midrange compression driver found in JBL’s ultrahigh-end K2 S5800 Series loudspeaker, paired with an ultrahigh-frequency 045Ti pure-titanium compression driver.

JBL Project Array floorstanding loudspeakers employ advanced Aquaplas-treated high-frequency transducers and titanium-diaphragm ultrahigh-frequency drivers in an extremely dense and rigid freestanding horn. The unconventional look of the horn assembly produces an equally unconventional sound: brilliantly clean highs - into the ethereal realm of 40kHz - delivered directly to a listener's ears. Coupled with a fast mid- to high-frequency compression driver in the time-honored JBL Professional tradition, Project Array brings a new level of dimensional accuracy to the tonal and dynamic realism JBL is justly famous for.

JBL 4700 Array

The S4700 is a floorstanding 3-way high-performance loudspeaker built upon the same professional-grade technology used in the acclaimed Project K2 S9900, one of the most advanced and sophisticated loudspeakers in the world today. At its foundation, the S4700 uses an all-new cast-frame 15-inch woofer (2216Nd) with a powerful dual 3-inch voice coil and neodymium motor structure for outstanding balance with the horn-loaded compression drivers. Mid- and high-frequencies are reproduced by a pair of titanium diaphragm compression drivers and a single-piece, SonoGlass® dual horn assembly. The 1.75" inch Aqua-Plas™-coated titanium diaphragm compression driver (175Nd-3) is mated to a 90° x 60° Bi-Radial® horn and delivers mid- and high-frequencies with lifelike dynamics and startling realism while an ultra-high frequency 0.75-inch titanium diaphragm compression driver (138Nd) with a 60° x 30° Bi-Radial horn recreates critical air and spaciousness. Premium-quality network components and dual binding post inputs ensure audiophile performance in any application. The attractive furniture-grade cherry wood veneer enclosure is internally braced at critical points and is tuned via a rear-firing port.

JBL K2 S9900

Project K2 S9900, one of the most advanced and sophisticated loudspeakers in the world today, is the latest expression in technology that is deeply rooted in more than 60 years of tradition. Like the Paragon and Hartsfield, the K2 S9900 was built around compression driver technology and addressed a more refined stereo image than was previously considered technically feasible. The K2 S9900 continues the tradition of the K2 S9800 and also incorporates key design elements from the Project Everest. Despite its 21st century power and sophistication, Project K2 S9900 is a synthesis of tradition and technology.

The K2 features a massive 15-inch woofer with Alnico magnet and 100 mm voice coil, cast frame and 16 kg motor structure. A High frequency compression driver and horn with 4-inch magnesium diaphragm and a precision-molded Sonoglass HF horn throat section integrated with curved baffle. The Ultra-High Frequency compression driver uses 1-inch beryllium diaphragm for breathtaking deatal and resolution. Finally a heavily-braced curved front and rear enclosure eliminates cabinet-induced coloration.
